Where lines or other markings are painted, placed, signed, or in some other manner signaled or imprinted on, upon, or about the public roadways or streets of the Town of West New York to delineate parking spaces and/or parking stalls, motor vehicles and motorcycles may only be parked or stationed between such lines or markings, within the parking spaces or stalls delineated thereby, and only one motor vehicle or motorcycle may be parked within any parking space or stall so delineated. Violation of this section shall be subject to a fine of $47.

A. 
Motorcycles are only permitted to be parked in on street parking areas designated as motorcycle parking, which are subject to residential parking requirements, or in metered parking spots during the hours of metered parking. It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of a motorcycle to park a motorcycle in a residential parking spot not designated as motorcycle parking or in a metered parking spot outside the hours of metered parking, including overnight.
B. 
For the purpose of this chapter, motorcycles are defined as they are in N.J.S.A. 39:1-1 and include motorcycles, autocycles, motor bikes, bicycles with motor attached and all motor-operated vehicles of the bicycle or tricycle type, except motorized bicycles, low-speed electric bicycles, and low-speed electric scooters.
C. 
Any person who violates this section shall be subject to a fine of $65 for each offense.
