12-1-1. 
Amendments to this charter relating in any way to the composition, mode of election or appointment or terms of office of the legislative body, select board or the town administrator may be proposed only by a charter commission elected under the General Laws, or proposed as otherwise authorized by the constitution of the commonwealth.
12-1-2. 
Amendments to the charter relating to other matters may be proposed by a two-thirds vote at a duly called town meeting under the General Laws, or proposed as otherwise authorized by the constitution of the commonwealth.
12-2-1. 
Proposed amendments under this charter shall be acted upon by ballot of the whole town at a regular or special town meeting for the election of town officers under the General Laws, or approved as otherwise authorized by the constitution of the commonwealth.
12-3-1. 
The select board shall appoint a committee of not fewer than 5 nor more than 9 members to review the charter and town by-laws not less than once every 10 years from the date of the last review undertaken under this section and said committee may make recommendations to a subsequent town meeting to amend said charter and town by-laws.
