City of Collinsville, TX Article III Municipal Court Building Security Fund and Defendant Fees

§ 157-13 Municipal Court Building Security Fund.

A. There is hereby created a City of Collinsville Municipal Court Building Security Fund as authorized by Article 102.017, Code of Criminal Procedure of the State of Texas.

B. Any defendant convicted of a misdemeanor offense in the Municipal Court of the City of Collinsville shall be required to pay a security fee in the amount of $3 to be assessed as a cost of court. The security fee may be waived by the Municipal Judge of the City of Collinsville only for good cause.

C. Such funds as are collected by the Municipal Court of the City of Collinsville shall be administered by the City of Collinsville for the purposes of municipal court building security as authorized by law.

§ 157-14 When effective.

This article shall be effective immediately upon passage and publication as authorized by law.
