Without restricting or impairing the powers granted to the Mayor
pursuant to § 209-m of the General Municipal Law, the Board
of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville does hereby delegate to the
Chief of Police or officer in charge of the Yorkville Police Department
the powers to request and grant police assistance pursuant to § 209-m
of the General Municipal Law now and as it may be hereafter be amended.
This article shall take effect immediately upon publication
and filing.
