As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
From 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., local time.
A unit of measure equal to 10 times the logarithm to the base 10 of the ratio of the square of the sound pressure to the square of a standard reference pressure. For the purpose of this chapter, 20 micropascals shall be the standard reference pressure. When sound pressure is measured in decibels, it is called "sound pressure level," or more commonly, "sound level." This chapter uses a commonly applied A-weighted sound level (dBA).
From 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., local time.
The intensity, frequency, duration, and character of sound.
Any individual, group of individuals, firm, corporation, limited liability company, or partnership.
