This article shall be known and may be cited
as the "Cooperative Pricing Ordinance of the Participant," namely,
Township of Union in the County of Union.
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:11-11(5),
the Chairman of the Township Committee and the Clerk of the Township
of Union, as the case may be, are hereby authorized to enter into
a cooperative pricing agreement with the County of Union for the purchase
of work, materials and supplies and to participate in the County of
Union cooperative pricing system.
The county entering into contracts on behalf
of the participant shall be responsible for complying with the provisions
of the Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq.) and
all other provisions of the Revised Statutes of the State of New Jersey.
