The Board of Supervisors may, from time to time, amend, supplement, change, modify, or repeal this chapter by proceeding in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. The Board of Supervisors shall, by resolution adopted at a regular or special meeting, fix the time and place of a public hearing on the proposed amendment and cause public notice thereof to be given as follows:

By publishing a notice thereof once each week for two successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation within the Township. The first notice shall not be more than 30 days or less than seven days from the date of the hearing.

The notice shall state the time and place of the hearing, the general nature of the proposed amendment and that full opportunity to be heard will be given to any citizen and all parties with an interest in attending such hearing.
3.
Whenever a proposed amendment affects a particular property, there shall be posted upon said property or premises, at such place or places as the municipal governing body may direct, notice of said proposed amendment.
