Riding a bicycle on the sidewalks on both the north and south sides of Main Street between Tugaloo Street and Ann Street between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. is prohibited.
Any person guilty of violating this article shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $200 plus costs and/or not exceeding 10 days in jail and/or not exceeding 20 hours of public service.

Riding in or on roller skates, roller blades, inline skates, skateboards, scooters or any similar wheeled device on the sidewalks on both the north and south sides of Main Street between Tugaloo Street and Ann Street and/or public streets and parking areas is prohibited.
Riding in a reckless manner, without regard to the safety and good order of persons, in or on roller skates, roller blades, inline skates, skateboards or any similar wheeled device on sidewalks, public parking areas and/or public streets within the limits of the City of Walhalla, other than both the north and south sides of Main Street between Tugaloo Street and Ann Street, is prohibited.
A. 
No monetary penalty shall be imposed for a first offense of this article; however, the roller skates, roller blades, inline skates, skateboards or any similar wheeled device may be retained by any officer finding a violation of this article and shall be held by the City of Walhalla until a hearing held by the Municipal Judge of the City of Walhalla. Upon written finding of the Municipal Judge that the person charged with a violation of this article has violated the article, the property shall be returned only by written order of the Municipal Judge.
B. 
No monetary fine shall be imposed for a second offense; upon written finding of the Municipal Judge that the person charged with a violation of this article has violated the article, the property shall be forfeited to the City of Walhalla. All property shall be returned upon a finding in writing by the Municipal Judge that the person charged has not violated this article.
C. 
For a third or subsequent violation, the matter shall be a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not greater than $200 and/or imprisonment for not more than 30 days; and the property used in such violation shall be forfeited to the City of Walhalla. If the person so charged is under the age of 17 years, the case shall be referred to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Oconee County, South Carolina.
