A.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to park or cause to be parked upon the streets, alleys, lanes, or ways in the Borough of Wilson, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, any large motor vehicles, as defined in § 102 of the Vehicle Code, without first having had and obtained permission to park the said vehicle from the office of the Mayor or the Police Department.
B.
A large vehicle is defined as having the same meaning as ascribed to it in 75 Pa.C.S.A. § 102 of the Vehicle Code of Pennsylvania as now in force or as may hereafter be amended to include:
(1)
Articulated bus.
(2)
Combination truck.
(3)
Driveway-towaway operation.
(4)
Farm equipment.
(5)
Full trailer.
(6)
House coach.
(7)
House trailer.
(8)
Limo (capable of carrying 10 or more passengers).
(9)
Maxi-cube vehicle.
(10)
Mobile home.
(11)
Motor home.
(12)
Multipurpose agricultural vehicle.
(13)
Recreational trailer.
(14)
School buses.
(15)
School vehicle.
(16)
Semitrailer.
(17)
Stringer-steered automobile or boat transporter.
(18)
Tow dolly.
(19)
Trailer.
(20)
Truck-camper.
(21)
Truck tractor.
(22)
Utility trailer.
(23)
Valueless except for salvage.
(24)
Wrecker with vehicle in tow.
(25)
Boats, snowmobiles, all-terrain vehicles and similar off-road vehicles, pickup campers, boat trailer, rollback vehicles, tent trailers and cases or boxes used for transporting recreational equipment (whether containing that equipment or not).
C.
"Park" shall be defined as the halting of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading property or passengers.
E.
Any person violating this section shall be subject to penalties and fines as specified in § 162-51, Fees.
F.
Wilson Borough Ordinance No. 425 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith shall be and are hereby repealed.
