It shall be unlawful for a minor (a person less than 21 years of age) to enter any premises in the Borough of New Cumberland licensed by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board for the sale of malt or alcoholic beverages for the purposes of purchasing or having served or delivered to him or her any malt or alcoholic beverage; or for a minor to consume any malt or alcoholic beverage on premises licensed as aforesaid for the sale of malt or alcoholic beverages, or to purchase, attempt to purchase, or have another purchase for him or her any malt or alcoholic beverage.
Any licensee of any premises licensed as aforesaid for the sale of malt or alcoholic beverages, within the Borough of New Cumberland, shall post a copy or a summary of this chapter in a conspicuous and visible place on said premises.
Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof before the Mayor or any Magisterial District Judge of the Borough of New Cumberland, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $10 nor more than $100 for each offense, and costs of prosecution, to be collected as other fines and costs are by law collectible, and in default of payment of said fine and costs shall be imprisoned in the Cumberland County Jail for a period not exceeding 30 days.
The provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to be severable and if any portion thereof shall be unconstitutional or inoperable, the remaining portions thereof shall remain in full force and effect.
