The salary of the Mayor of the Borough of New Cumberland shall hereby be established at $1,200 per year, effective for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 1973.

The compensation of the Tax Collector of the Borough of New Cumberland, or his or her successor or successors, for the collection of real estate taxes due to the Borough is hereby fixed at the following rate per tax year:
A. 
2026: 1.05% of Borough taxes collected by the said Tax Collector.
B. 
2027: 1.10% of Borough taxes collected by the said Tax Collector.
C. 
2028: 1.15% of Borough taxes collected by the said Tax Collector.
D. 
2029: 1.20% of Borough taxes collected by the said Tax Collector.
The compensation rate set in 2029 shall continue to be the rate in effect for subsequent years until such time as the rate is modified by ordinance.
