Any action brought under or to enforce any ordinance of the Borough of New Cumberland may be commenced before the Magisterial District Judge for the district of which the Borough of New Cumberland is a part, and jurisdiction in these matters is hereby extended to include the said Magisterial District Judge. All ordinances of the Borough of New Cumberland which provide for prosecution before the Mayor or Justices of the Peace of New Cumberland are hereby amended to include the Magisterial District Judge of the district of which the Borough of New Cumberland is a part, as an officer before whom said prosecutions may be commenced.
