The provisions of this Part 1, so far as they are the same as those of ordinances and regulations in force immediately prior to the enactment of this Part 1, are intended as a continuation of such ordinances and regulations and not as a new enactment. The provisions of this Part 1 shall not affect any act done or liability incurred, nor shall they affect any suit of prosecution pending or to be instituted to enforce any of these repealed ordinances or regulation.
The following ordinances of the Borough of Avondale are hereby repealed:
A.
Ordinance 14, regulating the speed of horses in the Borough of Avondale, approved June 6, 1899.
B.
Ordinance 29, regulating the use of automobiles, motor cycles, and other vehicles on the streets of the Borough, approved November 10, 1908.
C.
Ordinance 41, untitled ordinance ordaining U.S. Route No. 1 or Legislative Route No. 131 within the limits of the Borough as a through traffic route, approved October 14, 1929.
D.
Resolution 49, untitled resolution prohibiting all-night parking of automobiles or trucks in the streets or alleys of the Borough of Avondale and providing penalties, approved October 12, 1931.
E.
Ordinance 70, amendment to speed limit Ordinance No. 29 regulating the speed of automobiles, etc., in the Borough of Avondale, approved May 9, 1938.
F.
Ordinance 72, an amendment to an amendment to an ordinance regulating the speed limit of automobiles and etc., in the Borough of Avondale, approved November 14, 1938.
G.
Ordinance 86, prohibiting the parking of automobiles and etc., in "no parking" zones in the Borough of Avondale, approved February 9, 1942.

Ordinance 92, regulating parking on certain streets in the Borough of Avondale, approved November 14, 1945.
K.
Ordinance A 7, regulating traffic and parking in and certain uses of the highways, streets and alleys etc., of the Borough of Avondale, Chester County, Pa., approved March 6, 1950.

Ordinance A-17, amending Ordinance 72, November 14, 1938, regulating the speed limit of automobiles, etc., in the Borough of Avondale, approved May 1, 1956.
M.
Ordinance 11, regulating traffic on certain highways, street and alleys of the Borough of Avondale, approved July 5, 1960.
N.
Ordinance 14-A, regulating parking on the highways, streets and alleys of the Borough of Avondale, Chester County, and the State of Pennsylvania, approved 1960.

Any person who violates a provision of this Part 1 shall, upon conviction, be subject to the appropriate penalties set forth in the Pennsylvania Vehicle Code (75 Pa.C.S.A. § 101 et seq.) for each provision so violated.
