There is hereby established by and within the Borough of Haddon
Heights a chapter setting forth policies and procedures concerning
the payment of and/or disbursement of fees to the Mayor for services
in connection with the performance of marriage and civil union ceremonies.
A.
Persons
seeking to be married or joined in civil union by the Mayor of the
Borough of Haddon Heights shall pay to the Borough of Haddon Heights
a fee of $150 for such services. The Mayor is authorized to waive,
in his/her sole discretion, such fee for residents of the Borough
of Haddon Heights.
B.
The Borough
of Haddon Heights shall be paid for all marriage or civil union ceremonies
immediately upon completion of any such marriage or civil union ceremony.
The fees shall be deposited into the current fund, payable to the
Borough of Haddon Heights.
C.
The Borough
of Haddon Heights shall disburse to the Mayor the full amount collected
for any such marriage or civil union ceremony on a monthly basis and
shall pay the Mayor accordingly.
