Every laundry establishment in the City and every laundry establishment
doing laundry work for delivery in the City must comply with the following
standards:
a. Upon the completion of the laundering process, the count of active
bacteria per cubic centimeter in the final bath of water in which
the laundry is washed or rinsed shall not exceed that contained in
the original water supply.
b. Upon completion of the ironing process, the active bacterial content
of the laundered material shall not exceed that contained in the original
water supply.
c. Upon completion of the laundering process, the alkalinity of the
last rinse water souring shall not exceed that of the original water
supply.

All employees of laundry establishments operating in the City
or distributing laundry in the City who come in contact with laundry
or laundry containers must exercise scrupulous cleanliness and be
free from all communicable disease and must not be in a condition
to disseminate the germs of any communicable disease.
