Town of Richmond, NY Chapter 87 Cannabis

Article I Opt-Out of Licensing Adult Use Cannabis Retail Dispensaries and On-Site Consumption Sites

§ 87-1 Local opt-out.

A. All cannabis retail dispensaries and on-site cannabis consumption sites are prohibited from being licensed, established and operated in the Town of Richmond.

B. No building, structure, or premises within any use district in the Town of Richmond may be licensed for the sale, distribution or offer for retail consumption of cannabis or cannabis products.

C. The sale, distribution or offer for consumption of cannabis and/or cannabis products as prohibited in this section shall be prohibited regardless of whether products other than cannabis products are also offered for sale, distribution or consumption at the building, structure or premises.
