[1991 Code § 199-1]
No person shall conduct or manage, either as owner or lessee, any theater or other place wherein motion pictures are displayed or wherein motion-picture machines shall be installed, maintained or operated without having obtained a license for such purpose.

All motion-picture theaters shall be open at any time for inspection or for any other similar purpose to the Building Inspector, Housing Inspector, Health Officer, Plumbing Inspector, Fire Department or Police Department of the Borough.

A. 
No licensee shall conduct the activities of any place licensed pursuant to the provisions of this article in a noisy or disorderly manner.
B. 
If a licensee at any time exhibits motion pictures of an immoral character or such as would tend to deprave the minds of children or adults, the Chief of Police shall have the right to suspend the right of any such person from continuing to operate the theater or motion-picture show until the Borough Council gives the licensee a hearing. The Borough Council may, at any time after such hearing, in its discretion, suspend or revoke the license.

This article shall not be applicable to home movies nor to motion pictures shown by the Board of Education or for charitable, benevolent or religious purposes.
