(a) All
permit fees, reinspection fees, and other associated fees shall be
paid prior to obtaining a final inspection and certificate of occupancy.
(b) Development
application fees, including engineering and legal fee deposits and
traffic impact analysis review deposits, shall be paid when a complete
application is submitted, prior to technical review by staff.
(c) Any
applicable publication and notification fees shall be paid before
an application is considered for approval by the appropriate decision-making
body.
(d) Any
applicable recordation fees are due prior to filing documents with
the county clerk.
(e) Any
outstanding fee balance shall be paid in full prior to the execution
of the associated ordinance, plat, or document, or issuance of the
associated permit.
(f) All
fees are nonrefundable.
(g) Fees
where original application denied.
If any application for a permit for which a fee has been paid pursuant to this appendix
A is denied, a new application shall be filed, and the fees required by this appendix
A shall be paid.
(h) Fees
where construction started before permit application.
If construction of any facility for which a fee is required to be paid pursuant to this appendix
A is commenced before the permit is granted, the foregoing fees shall be doubled for that facility. The minimum charge shall be $300.00.
(i) Fees
for violation of a stop-work order.
If construction on
any facility is commenced or continued in violation of a stop-work
order issued by the city, the owner of the facility shall be required
to pay an amount equal to the construction fees.
