Editor’s note–Former section 3.06.002 pertaining to the adoption of the electrical code was repealed by Ordinance CO01-08-10-09-C1 adopted by the city on October 9, 2008. These provisions can be found in section 3.01.001(h) of this code.
Former section 3.06.003 pertaining to the electrical code amendments, was repealed by Ordinance CO22.23.05.30.B1 adopted 5/30/2023. Prior to the deletion, this section derived from the following: Ordinance CO01-08-10-09-C1 adopted 10/9/08 and Ordinance CO57-12-07-12-C1 adopted 7/12/12. The remaining section was renumbered at the editor's discretion.
With respect to any building, structure, or premises requiring a building permit, which permit is issued after the effective date of this section under any ordinance, rule, or regulation of the city, no electric service shall be provided to such building, structure, or premises unless and until a certificate of occupancy has been duly issued by the building department of the city.

Fees for electrical permits shall be assessed in accordance with the fee schedule adopted and amended from time to time by City Council as appendix A, article 2.000 Development Service Related Fees.
