Stop signs and yield signs shall be placed throughout the Village as deemed appropriate by Village officials. All vehicles shall come to a complete, motionless stop at stop signs. All vehicles shall yield to any other vehicle or person lawfully on the roadway at points marked with a yield sign, proceeding only when safe to do so. The location of stop signs and yield signs shall be shown on a plat map to be maintained at the Village Hall. Additional stop and yield sign placements shall be indicated by appropriate notation on the plat map so maintained.

Any person violating any provision of § 470-1 shall be penalized an amount of $100 per occurrence. Each day the violation exists shall constitute a separate occurrence.
