The Board of Trustees of the Village of Valatie hereby declares that Chapter 144 of the Code of the Town of Kinderhook, entitled "Games of Chance," shall be operative within the territorial limits of the Village of Valatie.
This chapter shall be subject to a permissive referendum as provided in Article 9 of the Village Law authorizing the issuance of licenses by the town.[1]
