Streets, roads and highways.
All ways and openings within the city dedicated to the public use or a way upon which the public has a prescriptive use.
Truck.
All vehicles licensed by the state as a truck and bearing a truck license plate.

The following streets, roads and highways within the limits of the city are designated as suitable for continuous truck traffic:
(1) 
Katy Hockley Cut-Off Road between Clay Road and Morton Road.
(2) 
Katy Fort-Bend Road between Morton Road and Interstate 10.
(3) 
Interstate 10 from Katy Fort-Bend Road to US Highway 90.
(4) 
Interstate 10 from Katy Fort-Bend Road to the western boundary of the city limits.
(5) 
US Highway 90 from Interstate 10 frontage to the western boundary of the city limits.
(6) 
Pin Oak Road from Interstate 10 to US Highway 90.
(7) 
FM 1463 from Interstate 10 to US Highway 90.
(8) 
Cane Island Parkway from Interstate 10 to US Highway 90.
(9) 
Pederson Road from Interstate 10 to US Highway 90.
(10) 
Igloo Road from Interstate 10 to US Highway 90.

All trucks of a size greater than those exempt by the terms of this division shall enter the city on any of the above-designated streets and shall continue on such designated streets through the city. If any truck subject to the terms of this division shall come into the city for the purpose of making a delivery within the limits of the city and the destination of such truck shall be located on a street not designated as a truck street in this division, the operator of such vehicle shall continue on a route along the streets designated as truck streets in this division to a point closest to the delivery point and shall then proceed over streets that are not designated hereunder to his point of delivery, and after delivery the operator shall return to the designated streets over the same route.

All trucks with a carrying capacity greater than one (1) ton shall be subject to the terms, conditions and stipulations of this division.
