The Lubbock International Airport and all premises within the jurisdiction, control and supervision of the airport board of the city is hereby declared to be a “fire prevention zone” and shall be designated as the “international airport fire prevention zone.”

The respective jurisdiction of the chief of the fire department and fire marshal of the city is extended to the “international airport fire prevention zone” within the terms and application of this entire chapter.

All ordinances and all parts of this code pertaining to fire protection and fire prevention, and particularly all sections of this chapter which may be applicable, are made cumulative with the terms of sections 10.02.101 and 10.02.102 and are extended to and include the “international airport fire prevention zone.”
