(a) 
Display required.
Each and every residence, store, school, hospital, commercial building and any and all other buildings and structures within the city which have addresses shall have posted thereon the address of such building or structure.
(b) 
Standards.
The posting of addresses on the buildings and structures located within the city shall be by the use of numeral symbols of a minimum size of four inches in height and spaced and located in a position to be easily visible and readable from the street which abuts the front of such building or structure.
(c) 
Violations.
It shall be unlawful for the owner, occupant, tenant or lessee to fail to have displayed and maintained on the buildings or structures within their control the address numerals of the type specified in subsection (b) of this section.

(a) 
Adoption.
The official map of the city reflecting the names of the streets of the city, on file in the office of the city secretary, is hereby adopted as the official map and registration book for street and highway names in the city.
(b) 
Amendments.
The official map, as originally adopted, shall be maintained separate and apart from this chapter. All future amendments shall be made by ordinance amending the official map and shall not be recorded as a part of this chapter.
