It is hereby provided that yield right-of-way signs shall be erected at the following intersections, and such intersections are hereby designated as yield intersections. The driver of a vehicle approaching a yield sign, if required for safety to stop, shall stop before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection or, if there is no crosswalk, at a clearly marked stop line, but, if none, then at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the driver has a view of approaching traffic on the nearest intersecting roadway. The yield intersections are as follows:

(a) 
Designation.
It shall be unlawful and an offense for any person to drive and operate a motor vehicle on the following designated streets, or portions of those streets, in a direction other than as indicated:

Signs.
The city manager, the chief of police, or such representative as either of such officials may appoint is hereby authorized and directed to cause appropriate signs to be posted and maintained, giving notice of the one-way designation of streets mentioned in subsection (a) of this section. The signs indicating the direction of lawful traffic movement shall be placed at every intersection of the streets where movement of traffic in the opposite direction is prohibited.

(a) 
Designation.
It shall be unlawful for any person to drive and operate a motor vehicle upon the following designated public streets and highways within the corporate limits of the city, which streets and highways are hereby determined to be closed to motor vehicle traffic:
Pen-Jay Road from a point of 50 feet east of Highland Village Road to Medina.
(b) 
Exceptions.
The traffic restriction imposed by this section shall apply to all motor vehicle traffic, except to authorized emergency vehicles, pedestrians, bicycle traffic and U.S. Postal Service carriers.
(c)

The city manager, the chief of police, or such representative as either of such officials may appoint is hereby authorized and directed to cause appropriate signs to be posted and maintained giving notice of the street closings as designated in this section.

At the intersection of Brazos Boulevard and Highland Hills Lane.
(4) 
At the intersection of Shannon Lane and Briarhill Boulevard.

At the intersection of Shannon Lane and Briarhill Boulevard into the north exit loop at Briarhill Middle School.
(b) 
Signs.
The city manager, the chief of police, or such representative as either of such officials may appoint is hereby authorized and directed to cause appropriate signs to be posted and maintained giving notice of the U-turn restrictions mentioned in subsection (a) of this section.

There are hereby authorized and directed to be distinctly marked on the applicable roadway, crosswalks for pedestrian crossings at the following locations:

(2) 
At the intersection of Brazos Boulevard and Merriman Drive, crossing Brazos Boulevard in a north-south direction.
(3) 
At the intersection of Highland Village Road and Sellmeyer Lane, crossing in a north-south direction.
(4) 
At the intersection of Highland Village Road and Canyon Creek Drive, crossing Highland Village Road in an east-west direction.
(5) 
At the intersection of Brazos Boulevard and Highland Hills Lane, crossing Brazos Boulevard in a north-south direction.
(6) 
At the intersection of Briarhill Boulevard and Shannon Lane, crossing Briarhill Boulevard in an east-west direction.
