Editor's Note: This local law was approved by the voters at a mandatory referendum held 11-7-1978.
It shall be lawful for any authorized organization, upon obtaining a license as provided in Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law, to conduct games of chance within the Town of East Greenbush, subject to the provisions of this chapter, Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law and the New York State Gaming Commission.
The conduct of games of chance on Sunday is permitted only when it is specifically provided for in the license issued. No games of chance, however, shall be conducted on Easter Sunday, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur.
The Chief of Police of the Town of East Greenbush shall exercise control over and supervision of all games of chance.
