(a) 
Above-ground storage prohibited.
It is unlawful for the owner or keeper of flammable gasoline to store, or permit to be stored, any gasoline in tanks or containers in quantities of more than five gallons, above the ground, for resale, within the corporate limits of the city.
(b) 
Declaration of nuisance.
The storage of any and all flammable gasoline in tanks or containers in quantities of more than five gallons above the ground for the purpose of resale within the city is declared a nuisance.
(c) 
Penalty.
Any person, firm, corporation or any agent or employee thereof who violates any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and, without notice, shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision found in section 1.01.009 of this code. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. Each act in violation of this section should be considered as a separate offense and a separate violation thereof.
