(a) Collection of fines.
The clerk of the municipal court
and any deputy clerk are authorized to collect such fines as the judge
of that court may set from time to time, from persons pleading guilty
or found guilty of offenses filed in the municipal court.
(b) Deposit to general fund.
All such fines collected pursuant
to this section shall be deposited into the general fund of the city
to be used as the city council designates in its annual budget.
(c) Fines for failure to appear.
The municipal court is
hereby authorized, after due notice, to assess and collect a fine
not to exceed $25.00 for an offense under section 38.10(e), Penal
Code, or section 543.009, Transportation Code. Money collected from
the fine shall be paid into the municipal treasury for the use and
benefit of the municipality.

(a) Authorized.
The clerk of the municipal court and any
deputy clerk are authorized to collect a special fee for the issuance
and service of a warrant of arrest or capias pursuant to article 102.011
of the Texas Code of Criminal Procedure, as amended.
(b) Deposit to general fund.
All such special expenses collected
pursuant to this section shall be deposited into the general fund
of the city to be used as the city council designates in its annual
budget.

(a) Authorized.
The clerk of the municipal court and any deputy clerk are authorized to collect a consolidated court cost set forth in appendix
A of this code, from any person convicted of a non-jailable misdemeanor offense, including a violation of a municipal ordinance, in addition to all other costs, on conviction.
(b) Allocation.
All such expenses collected pursuant to
this section shall be deposited into accounts and funds so that each
receives, to the extent practicable, utilizing historical data as
applicable, the same amount of money the account or fund would have
received if the court costs for the accounts and funds had been collected
and reported separately, except that the account or fund may not receive
less than the following percentages:
(1) The courthouse security fund or municipal court building security
fund: 35 percent;
(2) The local truancy prevention and diversion fund: 35.7143 percent;
(3) The municipal court technology fund: 28.5714 percent; and
(4) The municipal jury fund: 0.7143 percent.
