A certain document, three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the city secretary and the city, marked and designated as the International Residential Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2024 edition, including all appendix chapters, as published by the International Code Council, Incorporated, is hereby adopted as the residential building code for one- and two-family dwellings of the city for regulating and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, repair, location, relocation, replacement, addition to and use or maintenance of residential one- and two-family dwelling systems in the city and providing for the issuance of permits and the collection of fees therefor. Each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of the International Residential Code of One- and Two-Family Dwellings, 2024 edition, published by the International Code Council, Incorporated, and on file in the office of the city secretary, are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this division.
