The Borough of Jonestown has entered into a joint sewage project with the Townships of Union and Swatara, which project contemplates a joint sewage facility for the Jonestown area. It has been agreed by the municipalities that a joint sewage authority be formed with representation as follows: three members of the Borough of Jonestown; two members from Union Township; two members from Swatara Township.
