The following words, terms and phrases, when used in this division, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section, except where the context clearly indicates a different meaning:
A building access that abuts on or has an entrance to a public alley, that provides ingress or egress to a street or other thoroughfare for vehicles used in handling and loading and unloading of material or merchandise.
A space adjacent to a curb reserved for the exclusive use of vehicles during the loading or unloading of passengers, materials or merchandise.
An area equal to one standard parking space, as determined by the Traffic Engineering Division based on the type of parking permitted at the particular curb or location.
The posted time, assigned by the Traffic Engineering Division, to any loading zone not to exceed 30 minutes.
