A.
A "fireworks display," as defined by the International Building Code and the International Fire Code, as more particularly set forth and identified in Section 500.010 of the Municipal Code of the City of Pevely, may be discharged within the territorial limits of the City of Pevely on the fourth day of July in each year between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. in such years as the fourth day of July shall fall on a Sunday through Thursday weekday: and may be discharged between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 Midnight in such years as the fourth day of July shall fall on a Friday or Saturday of the week. Additionally, fireworks may be discharged on the Saturday preceding the Fourth of July, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 midnight, when the Fourth of July falls on a Monday through Thursday in any given year. Such fireworks may be discharged only on privately owned property with the consent of the owner and the occupant of such property.
