A. 
The provisions of this article shall apply to the waters of Beyer's Cove off of Green Lake in the Township of Brooklyn.
B. 
This article shall be enforced by the officers of the Green Lake County Sheriff's Department.
The intent of this article is to provide safe and healthful conditions for the enjoyment of aquatic recreation consistent with the public rights and interests and the capability of the water resources.
As used in this article, the following terms shall have the meaning indicated:
SLOW - NO WAKE
That speed at which a boat moves as slowly as possible while still maintaining steerage control.
No person shall operate a boat faster than "Slow-No Wake" in the waters of Beyer's Cove at any time. Beyer's Cove is located off the northwest corner of Big Green Lake, Section 3, Town 15, North Range 13 East.
The Town of Brooklyn shall place and maintain a synopsis of this article at all public access points within the jurisdiction of the Town of Brooklyn pursuant to the requirements of § NR 5.15 Wis. Adm. Code.
Wisconsin State boating penalties as found in § 30.80, Wis. Stats., and deposits as established in the uniform deposit and bail schedule established by the Wisconsin Judicial Conference are hereby adopted by reference, and all references to fines amended to forfeitures and all references to imprisonment are deleted.
The provisions of this article shall be deemed severable, and it is expressly declared that the Town Board would have passed the other provisions of this article irrespective of whether or not one or more provisions may be declared invalid. If any provisions of this article or the application to any person or circumstances are held invalid, the remainder of the article and the application of such provision to other persons or circumstances shall not be affected.
