(Ordinance adopting Code)
Any structure erected for the purpose of occupancy as a single-family
residence or thereafter occupied as single-family residence in a zoning
district classification of MH, MD, or SF/MF shall:
(1) Be constructed in a manner to prevent the harborage and infestation
of rodents between the ground and the building structure. If skirting
is required, the skirting shall be fire resistant with necessary vents,
screens and/or openings as approved by the building official;
(2) Be constructed in compliance with the then-current construction codes
of the city, which shall include compliance as a HUD-code manufactured
home as described in V.T.C.A., Occupations Code, chapter 1201, in
the case of mobile homes or manufactured dwellings;
(3) Be completely immobilized. This shall require the removal of all
axles and wheels, and anchoring to the ground (as approved by the
building official) when applicable to a structure;
(4) Provide an impervious surface and adequate screening for all outside
storage areas. Adequate storage area shall be provided to prevent
unsightly accumulation of tools, machines and other implements in
the open which would offend a person of reasonable sensibilities.
