The head of the Sundown Municipal Golf Course shall be the golf professional, who shall be employed by the city. The golf professional shall be responsible for the purchase of all supplies and other property used in connection with the operation, maintenance and repair of the Sundown Municipal Golf Course, including the submitting of an annual budget to the city administrator and the city council for approval.

The golf professional is vested with the duty and responsibility of enforcing the provisions of this article and, for such purpose, he is authorized to arrest and eject from the Sundown Municipal Golf Course and appurtenant premises any person violating any provision of this article.

It shall be unlawful for any person to use the golf course, any green, pro shop, tee box, fairway, driving range, building or practice green or any other portion of the Sundown Municipal Golf Course for any purpose other than the use prescribed by the city council for such property.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or cause to be driven any motor vehicle, except maintenance vehicles authorized by the golf professional, on or upon any green, fairway or other part of the Sundown Golf Course for any purpose other than the use prescribed by the city council for such property.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive or cause to be driven any private golf carts on or upon any green, fairway or other part of the Sundown Municipal Golf Course premises, unless such private cart has a current permit from the City of Sundown in accordance with the policies established by the city council.

A copy of the policies, rules and fees for the Sundown Municipal Golf Course will be posted and available in conspicuous places for the general public’s information.

The rates and fees for the golf course shall be as provided for in the fee schedule found in appendix A to this code.
