ORDINANCE 2017-07-27-01
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ROSEBUD, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE CREATION AND ESTABLISHMENT OF A SINGLE ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR THE INITIAL CREATION OF THE C-1 COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT; PROVIDING FOR ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE C-1 COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING FOR NONCONFORMING USE REGULATIONS; PROVIDING SEVERABILITY, OPEN MEETINGS AND EFFECTIVE DATE CLAUSES; PROVIDING PENALTIES; AND PROVIDING FOR RELATED MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Rosebud, after a public hearing, considered and adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the City of Rosebud;
WHEREAS, pursuant to and in compliance with the Comprehensive Plan, an ordinance of the City establishing an initial zoning district within the City should be adopted to better provide an attractive living environment and to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the present and future residents of the City;
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that all proper notices were made or provided and after a public hearing, the City Council for the City of Rosebud desires and intends to establish and create the C-1 Commercial District for the downtown area of the City of Rosebud, Texas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEBUD, TEXAS:
