There is hereby adopted as the official corporate seal of the
city a seal consisting of the embossed impression of a circular metallic
disk, containing on the outer upper rim the words “City of Gonzales,”
on the outer lower rim the date “October 2, 1835,” and
containing in the center the form of a star with a cannon including
the words “come and take it” written below.
