For the purpose of safeguarding of persons and property from
hazards arising from the use of electricity, The National Electrical
Code, 2014 edition, is adopted, a copy of which is on file in the
office of the city secretary, as the rules and regulations to be observed
in all electric wiring, construction, installation, repair, alteration,
operation and maintenance of electric wiring, apparatus and fixtures
except as otherwise specifically provided in this article, and the
same is hereby made a part of this article to the same extent as if
set out in full.
