A certain document, three (3) copies of which are in file in the office of the city secretary, being marked and designated as the International Plumbing Code, 2018 edition, including appendix chapters B–G, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted as the plumbing code of the city, in the state for regulating and governing the design, construction, quality of materials, erection, installation, alteration, location, relocation, replacement, addition to, use or maintenance of plumbing systems; providing for the issuance of permits and collection of fees therefor; and each and all regulations, provisions, penalties, conditions and terms of said plumbing code on file in the office of the city secretary are hereby referred to, adopted, and made a part hereof, as if fully set out in this section.

The following changes are hereby made to the published version of the International Plumbing Code on file in the office of the city secretary. The changes contained herein shall be construed as a part of the published code and in the event of a conflict between these provisions and their corresponding provisions in the published code, these provisions shall control.[1]
