(a) 
From and after the effective date of this article, any holder of a private club registration permit operating within the corporate limits of the City of Brownfield, Texas, shall be authorized to remain open for business until 2:00 a.m. of each day.
(b) 
Any holder of a private club registration permit convicted of violating the terms of this article shall be guilty of a Class C misdemeanor and shall be fined in accordance with the general penalty provision set forth in Section 1.109 of this code.
