(a) The mayor shall appoint a commissioner of veterans’ services in accordance with chapter 115, section
10, of the General Laws. This appointment shall be in accordance with Section
10-5(c) of the Charter.
(b) The commissioner of veterans’ services shall perform all the duties incumbent upon him under the provisions of chapter
115 of the General Laws and all amendments and additions thereto insofar as the same may be applicable to his department.
