A. 
Any use of loudspeakers or other sound-amplifying equipment in or upon the streets, sidewalks or other public places of the City or utilized by any commercial establishment is hereby prohibited, unless the person or corporation so using such loudspeaker or other sound-amplifying equipment first obtains from the City a permit for such use.
B. 
A permit for the purposes mentioned in this Section is not a matter of right and the Board of Aldermen may, within its discretion, grant or reject such license application.
C. 
Any person violating any of the terms of the permit issued hereunder shall be punishable as provided in Chapter 100, Article III.
D. 
Nothing contained in this Section shall limit or abridge the right of the City to take any other legal or equitable action to abate the use of loudspeakers or other sound-amplifying equipment in the above mentioned public places of the City.

A. 
Definitions. As used in this Section, the following term(s) shall have these prescribed meanings:
GARAGE/YARD SALES
Includes all sales or any similar sales of tangible personal property which is advertised by any means whereby the public at large is or can be made aware of the sale.
B. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to conduct a garage/yard sale in the City of Dellwood without first obtaining a garage/yard sale permit from City Hall. There shall be no charge for the cost of the permit. No resident shall have more than three (3) times per calendar year. The sale shall be restricted to between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 7:00 P.M.

A. 
No person shall place or erect a basketball hoop, playground or sports-related apparatus or similar object on a street, sidewalk, public roadway or public right-of-way, nor shall any person use such apparatus or object for any activity conducted on a street, sidewalk, public roadway or public right-of-way.
B. 
The Chief of Police or his/her designee may remove any basketball hoop, playground or sports-related apparatus or similar object from a street, sidewalk, public roadway or public right-of-way.

A. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to move into or out of any house, apartment or other residential building or into or out of any place of business or other commercial establishment later than one-half (1/2) hour after sunset and earlier than one-half (1/2) hour before sunrise without first obtaining a permit from the Chief of Police.
B. 
The Chief of Police or his/her authorized representative is hereby authorized to issue permits required by this Section. The permit and application therefor shall be on such form or forms as established by the Chief of Police.

It shall be unlawful for any person to use any street or highway or part thereof which has been withdrawn from use by the public or to drive or attempt to drive any vehicle thereon or to remove or destroy any barricade warning light or sign placed upon such street or highway or around or upon any obstruction or defect thereon as a protection or warning to the public.

A. 
No person shall be permitted to conduct outdoor cooking (i.e., barbecue), erect bounce houses, or place swimming pools in front of the building line of any single-family dwelling, multi-family dwelling or commercial structure.
B. 
In the event that a residential dwelling does not have a rear yard, then outdoor activities of the above kind shall be authorized on certain designated holidays, via permit only, subject to the following conditions:
1. 
No more than two (2) persons will be permitted to attend the barbecue unit or cooking apparatus per dwelling unit.
2. 
The time in which these restrictions will be lifted is between the hours of 12:00 P.M. and 7:00 P.M. during these designated days.
3. 
No alcoholic beverage may be visible within one hundred fifty (150) feet of the building line.
4. 
No loud music or other loud noises of any sort will be permitted.
5. 
Any food which is prepared under the guidelines of this Section shall not be consumed in front of the building line on the premises.
6. 
Barbecue units or cooking apparatus shall be of a moderate size for use intended to serve a nuclear family unit with a few guests.
7. 
A permit must be obtained before engaging in any restricted activities covered by the Section.
C.
