(a) 
It shall be unlawful for any person in the city to place or permit to remain outside of any building, dwelling, or structure in a location under such circumstances as to be accessible to children any refrigerator, icebox or other similar airtight or semi-airtight container which has a capacity of one and one-half cubic feet or more and an opening of fifty (50) square inches or more and which has a door or lid that may become latched or fastened shut.
(b) 
Refrigerators, iceboxes and similar airtight and semi-airtight containers with doors and lids that may become locked, located or allowed to be located on premises outside buildings, structures, or residences and accessible to children are hereby declared to be dangerous and to constitute a public nuisance and a serious menace to life since it is generally known that children of tender years are likely to enter and become locked in said airtight containers.

It shall be unlawful for any person to expectorate or spit upon any sidewalk or upon the floor of any public building or room used for public assemblies.

It shall be unlawful for any person to deposit, place or allow to remain in or upon any public thoroughfare any material or substance injurious to person or property.

It shall be unlawful for any person to place or keep on any windowsill, porch or other projection above the first story of any building abutting on any sidewalk any article which might do injury by falling upon any person on the sidewalk in front of such building, unless said article be securely fastened or protected by screens.

It shall be unlawful for any person to:
(1) 
Bathe or swim or wash any article of any character in the water of the city’s reservoirs;
(2) 
Throw, place, leave or deposit any rocks, sticks, dirt, trash, urine, excrement or filth of any kind therein; or
(3) 
Commit any nuisance upon the embankments or in the waters of such reservoirs.
