As used in this article, certain words, terms or phrases shall have the following meaning ascribed to them:
Roadway.
That portion of a street improved, designed or ordinarily used for vehicular travel, exclusive of the berm or shoulder.
Street or Highway.
The entire width between the boundary lines of every way publicly maintained and open to the use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel, including the berm or shoulder.
Vehicle.
Every device in, or by which any person or property is or may be transported or drawn upon a public highway or street, except devices moved by human power or used exclusively upon stationary rails or tracks.

(a) 
It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle upon or along any street, except as provided in this article, in any other manner than that the vehicle shall be parallel with the street upon which is it parked, facing the proper direction said vehicle is headed when traveling, and upon the right side thereof, as parked so that the wheels on the left hand side of said vehicle are not resting or standing on the roadway.

It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any median strip in the town.

It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle on any private property without obtaining the prior consent of the owner of said property.

It shall be unlawful to park any motor vehicle for a period of more than six (6) consecutive hours after 8:00 p.m. on any day of the week on or along any street or highway except those areas specifically designated for the parking of motor vehicles.

It shall be unlawful for any vehicle to park within twenty (20) feet of a street intersection, fire hydrant, or fire station.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall a deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined a sum in accordance with the general penalty provision set forth in Section 1.109 of this code and a separate offense shall be deemed committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
