(a)
Permanent signs and supporting structures shall be in architectural harmony with the associated building(s). Monument signs shall be solid masonry (stone, brick and/or stucco) to match the associated building(s). Businesses may display full color logos on building signs. Depending on the proposed sign design, metal that matches the building(s) may be approved by the code official. Reflective surfaces and molded plastic or molded acrylic signs are not permitted. Section 26.03.001(a) does not apply to signs that are defined as temporary signs by this code.
(b)
Temporary signs shall be fabricated of materials designed to withstand the elements for the permitted time period.
