New residential: $40.00 plus $0.40 per sq. ft. for the first 6,000 sq. ft. then $0.20 for each.

Remodel or addition: $40.00 plus $0.20 per sq. ft.

Expired permit reissue fee: Higher of 10% of original permit costs or $25.00.

Based on valuation.

50% of the building permit fee.

Any remaining engineer review fees must be paid prior to release of any permits.
(3) 
Residential/commercial express plan review:
75% of the building permit fee.
(4) 
Third-party express engineer plan review (when required): Pass through or actual cost of engineer's review fee. (h) 
Working without a permit or applicable license:
Where work for which a permit or license is required by the code is started prior to obtaining said permit or license, but the payment of such shall not relieve any persons from fully complying with the requirements of said code in the execution of the work nor from penalties prescribed herein. Unpermitted/unlicensed work fines:
(1) 
Existing one-family or two-family dwelling (which includes inside a residential condominium or cooperative unit: an be up to 4 times the permit amount, not to exceed $500.00.
(2) 
New construction one-family or two-family dwelling (which includes inside a residential condominium or cooperative unit): Can be up to 4 times the permit amount, not to exceed $5,000.00
(3) 
Existing building other than one-family or two-family dwelling: Can be up to 4 times the permit amount, not to exceed $10,000.00.
(4) 
New construction building other than one-family or two-family dwelling: Can be up to 4 times the permit amount, not to exceed $150,000.00
(5) 
Expired permits: $500.00 when such unpermitted work is performed on a one-family or two-family dwelling or $5,000.00 when such unpermitted work or applicable license is performed on a building other than a one-family or two-family dwelling.
(6) 
Working without a variance: $500.00 when such unpermitted work is performed on a one-family or two-family dwelling or $5,000.00 when such unpermitted work or applicable license is performed on a building other than a one-family or two-family dwelling.

(a) 
Network nodes.
(1) 
Application fee: $500.00 per application covering up to five network nodes, and $250.00 for each additional network node per application.
(2) 
Annual public right-of-way rate fee: $250.00 per network node installed in the city public rights-of-way.
(b) 
Node support poles:
The application fee for each network support pole shall be $1000.00.
(c) 
Transfer facilities:
(1) 
The application fee for each transfer facility shall be $100.00.
(2) 
The annual transfer facility rental rate shall be $28.00 monthly for each network node site located in a public right-of-way.
(d) 
Micro network nodes.
No application fee is required for a micro network node if the installation is attached on lines between poles or node support poles.
(e) 
Collocation of network nodes on service poles.
The collocation of network nodes on city service poles shall be at a rate of $20.00 per year per service pole.
(f) 
City-owned municipal utility poles.
A network provider shall pay an annual pole attachment rate for the collocation of a network node supported by or installed on a city-owned utility pole based upon the pole attachment rate consistent with section 54.024 [54.204] of the Texas Utilities Code, applied on a per-foot basis.
