For the purpose of this Chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the following interpretation and/or meanings indicated below:
The Director of Parks and Recreation.
Any animal domesticated by a person so as to live and breed in a tame condition.
Horses, mules, sheep, goats, cattle, swine and other domesticated animals, excluding dogs and cats.
Any motorized self-propelled device used by a person for mobility. Motorized vehicle as term is used herein shall specifically exclude motorized wheelchairs designed for, and used solely by, a mobility impaired person for locomotion and that is suitable for use in indoor pedestrian areas.
Any building, structure, bridge, park improvement, equipment or other such public property, and/or accessories under the control and care of the Parks and Recreation Board.
Any full-time, part-time or volunteer personnel charged with the responsibility for overseeing organizing, maintaining or assisting with parks and recreation programs and property, whether on duty or off duty.
Any land and facility(ies) owned by the City and under the care and control of the Parks and Recreation Board.
Any opportunity to enroll in a scheduled recreation program, attend or observe a scheduled recreation program, volunteer for a scheduled recreation program held in a City owned park or facility.
Any property or recreational facility owned or used by the City for recreational purposes and designated for such purposes by the City Council.
Any private use of park lands and facilities.
