Any person, firm or corporation engaged in the business of pest
control and desiring to operate in the city should have a structural
pest control business license or certified applicator’s license
issued by the state department of agriculture and comply with the
following:
(1) Register
annually with the city secretary, supplying the following information
on January 1 of each year:
(A) Name, home address and telephone number of the person, firm, or corporation
engaged in the business of pest control.
(B) Copy of the structural pest control business license or certified
applicator’s license.
(C) Furnish evidence of insurance or a contract of insurance approved
as sufficient by the structural pest control board of the state, in
an amount not less than that required by the Structural Pest Control
Act of the state and for the coverage required thereby.
(2) Pay
an annual filing fee as set by the city council at the time of registration
to the city secretary.
