(a) 
Each defendant convicted of a misdemeanor offense in the municipal court of the City of Levelland, Texas, shall pay a $3.00 security fee as a cost of court.
(b) 
The fee provided for in (a) above, shall be collected on all convictions occurring after the effective date hereof for offenses occurring on or after September 1, 1997.

(a) 
Each defendant convicted of a misdemeanor offense in the Municipal Court of the City of Levelland, Texas shall pay a $4.00 technology fee as a cost of court. This fee shall be deposited in a fund to be known as the municipal court technology fund and expended for those purposes allowed by V.A.C.C.P. Art. 102.0172.
(b) 
The fee provided for in (a), above, shall be collected on all convictions occurring after the effective date hereof for offenses occurring on or after September 1, 1999.

Upon all fines, court costs, fees, and other charges imposed by the municipal court that are more than sixty days past due and have been referred to an attorney who is not an employee of the city for collection, there is hereby imposed an additional fee equal to thirty percent (30%) of the amount owed.
