Violations of any provision of this article shall be punishable as a class C misdemeanor and fined in accordance with the general penalty provision found in section 1.01.009 of this code. Each day that a violation continues shall be a separate offense.

No conviction or convictions under the penal provisions of this
article shall ever be considered as any bar to any injunctive or other
legal remedy, relief, right, or power existing in the city of enforcing
the application and provisions of this article by virtue of the constitution
and the laws of the State of Texas, and charter of the city. The city
council may refuse to approve any future plats for any developer or
subdivider or any corporation whether a subsidiary of [or] parent
wherein the developer or subdivider owns more than fifty percent (50%)
interest until any previous delinquencies in specifications for former
plats have been corrected.
